As our first Bernese, Harpo quickly became the king of the family. After wanting a Bernese Mountain Dog for fifteen years, it was like a dream come true. He taught us about conformation, draft and obedience. Harpo opened up a wonderful new world of friends to us. While he was never bred, he taught us so very much about integrity, hard work and never taking one’s self seriously. He lives on in these life lessons. Thanks Pookey!
Harpo died at nine and a half years old of Malignant Histiocytosis.
